The disappointing thing for me is that we waited until the Super Bowl to play our worst game of the season. Once New Orleans started going to 3 step drops and neutralizing the pressure on Brees, we had no answer. Our DBs are incapable of playing press coverage to throw off the timing and NO picked us apart because of it. Manning didn't necessarily play badly other than the pick. He doesn't play defense or special teams unfortunately. I'd take Manning at corner over Tim Jennings.

DB's did a great job first 2 quarters ,could hold the pressure ,it kept coming .

Think you jinxed it with your first post

I wasn't saying it was some next-level entertainment, but for two 60+ legends it was good, as a fan (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_mrgreen.gif) The backing sound was too loud and complex though.

Interesting how the Colts are already favored to win the SB next year...

The Colts will pick up their usual 12 (or more) wins, and maybe clinch homefield advantage. From there, anything can happen.

I'll take a 12 win season and a loss in the playoffs any time over a crappy 7-9 or 6-10 season. I'm extremely lucky to be a Colts fan right now. We're so freakin' spoiled it's ridiculous.

Eagles make the playoffs every year, and every year they fail..... It really isn't acceptable at this point... Haven't won since 1960.... pre-super bowl era.

Yeah, the heartbreak sucks, but I'd still take it over being out of the hunt before the bye week. Those 12 win seasons are a lot of fun to be a part of as a season ticket holder. Lucky for me I've never had to suffer through an 0-8 home record before like some Colts season ticket holders have.

That is kind of funny. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_mrgreen.gif)

But in all seriousness, Caldwell had no business in sending Stover out to attempt a 51 yard FG. I knew he would miss it once he ran onto the field. I don't blame Stover for that. He was never expected to make anything longer than a 45 yard FG. That's a huge weakness for us.
