I think Derby fans thought the points were in the bag, must feel like a win to QPR.

We're looking for a winger and a striker in the last few hours of the window, apparently...

Hope we get a striker...

He was disgraceful against us in the opener, but he'd do ok with a bit of motivation.

Yeah he might need his head sorting out

But if on form he's too good for this division.

Who'd pay his wages tho (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

The biggest rumour seems to be Rob Hulse

http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/Sport/QPR-in-f...e-day-looms.htm

Seems a Warnock type signing, not particularly exciting but he might do a job....

And the oldest rumour is Jason Roberts but apparently Wigan are interested too

http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/london-sp...82029-27171471/

The main stumbling block is, as ever, wages.

Fucking silly Prem clubs throwing around ridiculous wages and now want to get rid

BBC say:

Now then, BBC Radio Solent understands that Portsmouth striker David Nugent is close to returning to Burnley, with Pompey team-mate Tommy Smith currently undergoing a medical at QPR.

He was good at Watford but can he recapture that form?

He's 30 i was shocked to read (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Tommy Smith and Rob Hulse have both signed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap.gif)

£1.5mil for Smith, Hulse undisclosed but in final year of contract so hopefully not too much

Important signings for the squad

Both deals need clearance and should be confirmed tomorrow.

Derby 2-2 QPR

* Commons 40
* Bailey 59

* Agyemang 90+2
* Mackie 90+5

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/red.gif) 1 late goal is always nice but 2?! Since when was Warnock a good manager. Couple decent signings those 2 should be also.

He was always a good manager, at this level at least. He's just always been a dick longer...

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) true and although he made himself a highly disliked person he did get a team to the Prem and they almost stayed there for another season. Just had a read up to jog my memory, no dull moments with this man that's for sure -

QUOTE
The Blades performed well in their expected relegation battle, and for a long time looked to be heading for survival. However a turning point in the season occurred with victories for both West Ham and Wigan on the final day of the season, condemning Warnock's side to relegation. Warnock claimed in his autobiography that minutes after the final game of the season, actor and Blades fan Sean Bean burst into his office, blaming Warnock for the team's relegation in a "foul-mouthed tirade" while Warnock's wife and daughter were present. Bean denied this, calling Warnock "bitter" and "hypocritical", and arguing that he would never use such language in front of another man's wife and children. Warnock resigned from the club following relegation to take some time out of football.

A major factor that caused Sheffield United's relegation was that Fulham beat Liverpool in the penultimate game of the season. Liverpool rested many first team players (due to them not being in contention for the Premier League and concentrating on the Champions League) and consequently lost 1–0. Liverpool started the day in fourth place and finished the league a week later in third place.

Warnock was frustrated that Liverpool played a weaker team, because it did not give the teams in the relegation battle an equal chance of survival.

I would love to see Sean Bean batter Neil Warnock, preferably with his sword while in full Boromir attire. Warnock does look like a troll after all.
